FAQ

Letterman Jackets Eligibility and Customization

Can anyone order a letter jacket?

You must be qualified AND have official approval in order for your jacket to be made.  All orders will be confirmed with your school to be sure your are approved and qualified. If you place an order that is not approved by the school, your money will be refunded, minus the credit card fee.

How do I qualify for a letter jacket?

Each sport and/or organization has their own eligibility requirements for a letterman jacket. Please ask your coach or sponsor to see if you are eligible.

How do I know what my jacket will look like?
  • The base colors and look of the letterman jacket for your sport or organization is the same from year to year.
  • Images of the different letterman jackets offered by your school are available on the product page.  Most images also state what sport or organization the jacket is for.  Simply choose your school and click the button for letterman jackets.
  • See the next question for customization options.
What can I customize about my jacket?

You may customize:

  • Your name on front, back, collar, etc., as well as the font.
  • The sports inserts on your award letter
  • Sleeve patches
  • Vinyl sleeves can be upgraded to leather
  • Girls can upgrade to a sailor collar (the large flap)
What can NOT be changed or customized?

The color combinations of the jacket and its patches cannot be customized.  So basically, a Sulphur High School football jacket from 10 years ago should look the same from a distance as the jacket does today.  The team is bigger than the individual.

Letterman Jackets Order Process

**Letter jacket must be paid in full before it can be ordered**

How do I know my size?

A letterman jacket representative will come to your school to measure you. If you missed that date or are ordering after that date and have not connected with the rep please use this sizing chart to determine your size.

Do I have to order a package?

No, there is an option to order all items individually. However, you can save money by purchasing a package.  Most students (90% or more) purchase a package for this reason. You can build your jacket as you like with all packages. The only difference is the number of patches provided in the package you choose.

NOTE:  All packages come with Name on front, name on back, and a senior year/date sleeve patch.

Patches are supposed to be included in my package cost but it is making me add them. Why?

Patches included in your package are subtracted (via discount) at check out. You will see the discount in your cart.

Will the patches come in my school color?

Yes. Patches are made to match the jacket specifications for the sport or organization for which you are ordering.

My sport or organization will be paying for a portion of my letterman jacket. How do I handle that?

If your sport or organization is paying for a portion of your jacket, you should have received a coupon code to enter at check out.  Using this coupon code will deduct the amount being paid by your sport or organization.

Do you accept partial payments?

A letterman Jacket cannot be ordered until it is paid in full. If you need to make partial payments, please contact your rep directly. Call or text (337) 564-6865 or email cris@glorydayscelebrated.com.

Rally Jackets

How do I know my size?

Please choose a size based on a t-shirt and/or hoodie that you currently wear. You may go up a size if you intend to wear the jacket for a number of years.  For example: A 6th grader may order a size up if they still want the jacket to fit as an 8th grader.

Where will the jacket be shipped?

The rally jacket will be shipped directly to your home.

How to Determine Your Jacket Size

Chest Measurements

To arrive at the correct chest measurement, measure around the chest, under the arms, and over the shoulder blades.  Do not pull the tape tight, but let it lie comfortably on the chest.

Sleeve Length

To arrive at the correct sleeve length, measure from the center of the back of the neck, over the end of the extended arm (bent at a 90 degree angle) to the wrist bone.
